Overall, pretty decent poke-- large portions and the fish is pretty fresh. The proteins I got were the hawaiian tuna, classic tuna, and classic salmon. I got a free cup of strawberry ice cream, I think it's part of their promo. I wish they mixed the poke with the sauce of choice before putting it together instead of just drizzling the sauce on top, but it was still pretty good. Small shop, as expected on the ave. Not busy at all. Service is pretty friendly too.

Overall good Poke shop. I enjoyed the freshness and myriad of topping options that were available. Pricing is average for what you get but overall the food tasted great! Friendly staff and got free ice cream cup! Would certainly return

The food is amazing. The owners are really nice and I love supporting small businesses I've been going there after work at least 2 to 4 times a week since they opened 2 weeks ago. Their son is really a good boy, he always says Hi to me and show me the games the he plays while I'm waiting for my food to be prepared. The portion is really good for the price. Perfect for the college students who want to get more their moneys worth

Brand new poke place on the ave and I think it is probably the best one! Went today and met the very nice owner and got a large poke bowl with avocado (only $1 for a full one!). Overall your standard poke place but the fish was higher quality than the other places on the Ave. Definitely worth a try if you live in the area!

I'm from Hawaii, so I'm always on the lookout for the next new poke spot. Poke Bay just opened on the Ave (right in front of Boba Gem and across from Jai Thai) and they were having a 20% off sale for their grand opening, so I popped in to give them a try! TL;DR: It's not authentic Hawaiian-style poke. However, it's a decent American-style poke bowl (where the poke isn't pre-mixed beforehand and the toppings greatly outweigh the amount of fish). I'd come back solely for the unusual fact that they have crawfish and shrimp tempura in their standard protein options. The interior is bright, clean, and minimalist -- just a bar to order and some seating. One individual bathroom. Note that there is VERY LIMITED seating: 1 table for four people, 1 table for two people, and 5 counter seats. When I came in, they were playing a mix of alternative and Disney music at medium volume. In terms of food, it was pretty standard Seattle poke-bowl fare and pricing. Choose a "signature bowl" with pre-set ingredients (Regular $13.99 and Large $16.99) or build your own bowl (Regular $13.99 for 2 proteins, Large $16.99 for 3 proteins, +$3 for an extra scoop of protein). They had drinks to purchase but I didn't see a free water dispenser. For folks unfamiliar with poke bowls, here's how to build your own bowl: 1. Walk to the far right edge of the counter, and tell them what size you want. 2. Choose a base (rices and salad), 2-3 scoops of protein (variety of cubed fishes, shrimp tempura, crawfish, or tofu). 3. Add an unlimited number of sides (vegetables, crab salad, edamame, ginger, etc). 4. Choose your sauce (I'm unclear if there's an extra charge for multiple sauces or not). 5. Add an unlimited number of toppings (crispy onion, jalapeños, tempura flakes, etc). Enjoy!

new poke place just opened up near uw! i got a regular (2 proteins) and a bunch of toppings. overall it was p good but the rice was a bit watery. lots of sides to choose from and it's filling! i do wish the protein size was larger per scoop since it's only 6-7 pieces of fish. this could be a soft opening thing but they ran out of 2 of the proteins when we got there so would say to go earlier if you want more options. highly recommend trying it out though. service was also nice and very chill atmosphere :))
